Mass Virtual Captures Knowledge for MH-139 Grey Wolf Training

Mass Virtual is continuing its efforts to support the U.S. Air Force, this time at Maxwell Air Force Base, where the team captured knowledge for one of the newest assets in the fleet — the MH-139 Grey Wolf. With only a limited number of airframes available and mission readiness as the top priority, pulling aircraft offline for training isn’t always an option. That’s where high-fidelity virtual training becomes mission-critical.

By creating immersive, accurate XR experiences, the Air Force is helping to ensure maintainers can build and refine skills in a safe, scalable environment — without disrupting operations. These immersive solutions support hands-on practice at any time, allowing maintainers to stay sharp while keeping aircraft mission-ready.

“This project represents the best of what immersive training can do for the Air Force,” said Brandon Pinero, Senior Project Manager at Mass Virtual. “By capturing the expertise of today’s maintainers and transforming it into interactive training, we’re not only supporting current readiness but also preparing the next generation of Airmen to succeed. It’s an honor to work alongside the team at Maxwell AFB and contribute to the Grey Wolf’s mission.”

Mass Virtual remains proud to support the Warfighter by delivering next-generation training solutions that meet the demands of today’s force, ensuring efficiency, safety, and readiness across the fleet.
