Mass Virtual Awarded 2025 Gold HIRE Vets Medallion Award for Commitment to Veteran Talent

Mass Virtual has been awarded the 2025 Gold HIRE Vets Medallion Award by the U.S. Department of Labor, the highest federal-level recognition for employers demonstrating an outstanding commitment to hiring, retaining, and supporting veterans in the workforce.
The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who meet rigorous employment and retention benchmarks for veteran talent.
This year’s Gold designation highlights Mass Virtual’s continued dedication to creating meaningful career pathways for veterans, while supporting their long-term professional growth and leadership development.
“Veterans bring lived operational experience, discipline, and a deep understanding of mission execution,” said John Brooks, CEO of Mass Virtual. “That perspective directly shapes how we design training — focused on readiness, performance, and real-world impact for the warfighter. We’re honored to receive this recognition and remain committed to building a workplace where veterans are empowered to lead, contribute, and thrive.”
Mass Virtual has long valued veteran talent across its production, engineering, and business teams. Many employees — including leadership — bring prior military service, shaping the company’s understanding of real-world training needs and elevating the quality and effectiveness of its immersive solutions.
Organizations receiving the Gold Medallion Award meet high standards in veteran hiring and retention, as well as veteran-focused programs, resources, and leadership support. Mass Virtual is honored to stand alongside employers nationwide who prioritize veteran employment.
Laura Tomasetti, director of people operations, emphasized the company’s ongoing efforts to create a workplace where veterans feel supported throughout their careers. “This award reflects our daily commitment to building a culture where veterans can grow, contribute, and feel truly valued,” Tomasetti said. “We’re proud of the programs and support systems we’ve put in place — but even more proud of the veterans who choose to build their careers here.”
